Exploring Cozumel Aboard Wonder of the Seas

It is Day #4 onboard the Wonder of the Seas, and we are docked in beautiful Cozumel, Mexico!
Next to CocoCay, Cozumel has always been a top port for us. It has been several years since we’ve docked here, so we were excited to check it out again and enjoy a day exploring Cozumel aboard Wonder of the Seas.
A Chill Start in Cozumel
We didn’t have any set plans today in Cozumel—just a bit of exploring and shopping—so we started the day with breakfast at Johnny Rockets.
We both went with our go-to choice: the B.E.L.T. sandwich, stacked with bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato. It’s our absolute favorite breakfast item at Johnny Rockets, and once again, it hit the spot!

If you’re sailing on an Oasis Class ship, don’t miss out on this complimentary breakfast option—it’s definitely worth a try!
Exploring Cozumel and Poolside Relaxation
After breakfast, we headed to the gangway and disembarked the ship. We’ve always enjoyed browsing the shops at this port, though a heads-up—some of the vendors can be a bit persistent. Still, we picked up a few souvenirs before making our way back onboard.

Once back on the ship, we made our way up to the Pool Deck, grabbed a couple of drinks from the Lime and Coconut, and soaked up some sun by the pool—it was the perfect way to unwind.
Lunch at the Windjammer Buffet
For lunch, we really wanted El Loco Fresh, but with it being a port day, they didn’t open until 2:00pm. So, we headed over to the Windjammer to check out the buffet selections. We ended up enjoying some creamy mac and cheese and a delicious chicken wrap.
An Afternoon in the Solarium & Snack Break
After lunch, we made our way to the Solarium for a drink and a much-needed afternoon nap. The Solarium has been incredibly relaxing this trip—we’ve really loved spending time there.
By 2:00pm, we found ourselves hungry again, so we stopped by El Loco Fresh for some tacos and nachos. It was the perfect afternoon snack to tide us over.
We spent a little more time in the sun before grabbing a couple of drinks and making our way back to our room to get ready for dinner.
Dinner: Mexican Night in the MDR
We were really looking forward to tonight’s theme in the Main Dining Room—Mexican Night!
Leah kicked things off with the Grilled Sweet Corn Cakes, while I opted for one of my go-to starters: the Roasted Poblano Soup.
For the main course, Leah chose the Carne Asada, and I went with the Pulled Pork Enchiladas. Both dishes were full of flavor and didn’t disappoint.

To wrap things up, Leah ordered the No Sugar Coconut Cake, and I treated myself to a favorite of mine—the Tres Leches Cake.
In our opinion, this is one of the strongest menus offered in the Main Dining Room—definitely a night to look forward to!
Evening Fun Onboard
After dinner, we headed to the Solarium, grabbed a drink, and soaked in the stunning sunset as the ship sailed away from Cozumel. The views were absolutely unbeatable!

With no entertainment reservations for the night, we decided to check out The Perfect Couple Game Show at The Attic. It was our first time seeing it—and it did not disappoint. Three couples competed in some pretty wild and physical challenges. It’s an adults-only show, but definitely worth checking out for a good laugh.
Next, we made our way to The Mason Jar to catch some live country music. The band was great, but the place was packed, so we only stuck around for a couple of songs.
To wrap up the night, we headed down to the Promenade, grabbed some late-night Sorrento’s, and snagged a spot to watch the Latin Show. The performance was full of energy and super entertaining—an awesome way to end the evening.
